Post-back templates


Post-back templates are custom message templates used for replying to a user once a user performs a particular action after contacting your page on Messenger. This can be a button click, support request, etc and allows you to structure and customise your Messenger bot according to your requirements.


Follow the steps below to setup your first post-back template:


Step 1: In the sidebar on the left of the screen under 'Messenger Tools' click 'Messenger Bot'.


Step 2: Under the 'Post-Back Manager' title click 'Actions'.


Step 3: Click the blue 'Create New Template' button.


Step 4: Give your template a name and select the page you would like to associate with this post-back template.


Step 5: Set a post-back ID, select your reply type and add your desired reply. 


Step 6: Adjust any additional settings as you feel necessary.


Step 7: Click 'Submit' to save your new template. You can now use this template as a response to a user action on your Messenger bot. You can setup bot replies, user actions, and start structuring your bot in the 'Bot Settings' page.
