Messenger Bot Templates

Messenger bot templates allow you to save your Messenger bot structure and replies for future use with other pages. 

To save your current template for the steps below:

Step 1: From the sidebar under 'Messenger Tools' select 'Messenger Bot'

Step 2: Under the 'Bot Settings' heading click 'Actions'.

Step 3: Select the page with the bot settings and replies you'd like to export. 

Step 4: Under 'Bot Reply Settings' click 'Change Settings'.

Step 5: In the top right click 'Bot Settings Data' and then 'Data Export'.

Step 6: Give your template a name and description.

Step 7: Upload a template preview image if required and click 'Export' to export your bot settings, replies, and structure.

Congratulations! Your new bot template has been saved and can be found in 'Saved Templates' on the main 'Messenger Bot' page. To import your bot into other pages repeat steps 1-4 and click 'Data Import' in step 5 instead of 'Data Export' and follow the prompts.
